It Came In a Gray Box

I got it today as a late birthday gift, that should arrive in August. An item that I was looking at for a long time. I was almost craving for it, because I couldn't imagine an outfit without it. I always thought "but it would look so much better with the gold CASIO WATCH". I imagined it would be a lot thicker and bigger but I am glad that it is as think as it is, because it suits my wrist perfectly and it adds just the right amount of gold and shine in oppose to all that fabric and wool.

An Animal

It was a Saturday morning and Miike Snow was playing repetitively in my head. When I slip yeah I slip I am still an animal... xx

A Puma in the City

I am sitting in front of the computer thinking about today's morning. The lovely photo-session turned out to be a success and I can't wait to arrive to school with my lap-top in my hands and throwing myself in a cafe that is right across Pojane Grammar School, drinking coffee while browsing through today's photos. The hardest part will be choosing which one will be appropriate to go on this blog and to be submitted...where to, is still a top secret.

The post-photo shoot anticipation is what I dislike the most, because on one hand I feel excited and can not wait to see what turned out. I have a best case scenario in my head where I will be overwhelmed with how great the photos turned out to be, how the textures are seen perfectly and how no item of clothing makes me look fat or incapable of making a decent outfit, because the clothes are not black any more but look dark blue. Along side the best case scenario is the worst case one, where everything goes wrong, where every picture is a disaster, where every pose is terrible and I look like a slob even when wearing size 0 pants. I hate the feeling when I can not say "it's done! everything necessary is shot" and I have to fill another session in to my schedule.

Despite all odds, Zoya says pictures are crazy. You will see them in a couple of days, until then I wll have to leave you hanging with only this photo to keep you waiting and to maintain the anticipation that is hopefully in the air. xx

People teaser

If I would have thought of a project to pull off in a next few days, what do you think would it be? I am really interested in your opinion (it will probably make me think a bit in which direction you think I am going and aiming) and you can express it on my formspring. Guess what I will be doing with Zoya in the next few days and you will see the result in a week!

I am excited to finally start working in this direction and am so pleased that she (Zoya!) is more than willing to help me.

If you are guessing, I must add that in this whole post, there is a small hint that will help you guess. And it is not in bold or with an exclamation mark. Until next week! xx

ZARA TRF Lookbook Nov.

It's November now and I was happy to see a new Zara news leather in my e-mail today finally! It surprised me that the lookbook wasn't for women or man and that they didn't send me the new People! Magazine (if it still exists). They sent me the new TRF lookbook which is again fantastic and unaffordable but still fun to watch. They included the "pattern-pattern" trend in one styling that I find amazing but I would probably never dare to wear it myself, because this is the one trend that can look either horrible or amazing, depending of the occasion, posture and the pattern itself. They used Jacquard pattern and it was a wave of freshness seeing that they didn't use the worn out Paisley again.

All in all, every piece is casual but it looks clean without any unnecessary grunge feel added to it and again there are three pieces I can imagine in my closet soon. Can you guess which ones?

Expect new style photos soon (I know I am boring you to death with these campaign and lookbook styles, but still don't say you didn't get any ideas and you didn't see any new pieces you would like to buy and wear), because today I am having a French night out and French couture fits perfectly with the theme. xx

Runway bandits

Probably all of you are facing the same problem when you are looking for an online store and you can't find one that would fit you style perfectly. I have to say that I still haven't find 'the one', but I ran across a store that is close second. It is called RUNWAY BANDITS and it is based in Singapore. The thing I like the most is, that all the items are reasonably priced and well styled, put together in street style like combinations. Every item can be styled in to a million outfits and they say that they ship world wide (probably not to Slovenia, but I will try it soon).

They just launched their Saddle Up Lookbook and it is just lovely even though the clothes are light and not warm (damn you, Singapore weather!) and there aren't much winter items but you can layer them well with a bit of imagination.

These are my favourites and I they will be mine (hopefully soon):

For more information about their items and collections, check out their website and like them on facebook! xx

Spookbook

Everyone is excited about Halloween and a lot of fashion lovers are transforming their clothing from street style to spooky fashion which is mostly seen on Lookbook that has changed to Spookbook for a whole week. The most exciting thing about it is the competition Spookbook x American apparel, where the best and most spooky costume will receive a 500$ gift card and four runner ups 100$ for American apparel. How can you not like the competition?

Though it was supposed to be a fun and creative competition, I find it very dull. Why? Because every outfit is the same, just as if everyone was copying each other. They are all dressed in a zombie or have some heavy looking make-up. Can it even get any more boring?

But still, here are some which I think stood out from the rest:

To see other boring contest entries go to Spookbook.nu and see for yourself. You may actually like some of them in the end. And don't forget to vote for your favourites + stay tuned for other contests that may be held on various sites and don't forget to participate, if you find it as awesome as I do! xx

Top 3 Autumn trends

We are deeply in autumn now and I decided to just gather some trends that I find appealing into a post and show you how I would style them and make them wearable for winter to. And I again must apologize because I don't have any new photos because I had no time and my wardrobe is getting kind of dry, so I'm going shopping on Saturday (oh I am so exited about the Mango's Kate Moss collection (!!!) and Zara's coats... too bad they cost a fortune).

So let me start at the beginning with my absolute favourite which are BASIC COATS. Paired with a dress or something very feminine they are appropriate for every occasion. I like the fact that there aren't to many stitches, that the details are seen more and that they aren't so tight in the waist any more. Plus the materials are either hard or soft and never in between, because I always hated the feeling of the denim like feeling on my skin.

The second thing I absolutely adore are GEOMETRIC SWEATERS that really make a statement paired with tight pencil skirts (made of pleather to add extra sex-appeal) or with some baggy like pants. I also think that everything is in materials. If they look cheap they ruin the whole outfit.

The last but not least favourite trend are TOP-NOTCH TROUSERS that I keep wearing and I insist of buying myself a new printed pair and one made out of pleather, plus an additional vintage pair that is a bit high-wasted (obsessed right?).
